Inspired by the iconic Spyderco Delica®, the Meadowlark® family of byrd® knives offers all the same features and benefits at an amazingly affordable price. All versions of this model share the same refined handle ergonomics, full-flat-ground 8Cr13MoV blade, forefinger choil, sturdy back lock mechanism, four-position pocket clip, and byrd’s trademark Comet-shaped hole for ambidextrous one-handed opening. The Meadowlark 2 Lightweight packs all these features into a handle built with fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales and nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners. Available in a choice of colors in both PlainEdge™ and CombinationEdge™ formats, its injection-molded scales have a high-traction a Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for a positive, non-slip grip.
