The advanced alloy composition of this steel is further enhanced by the CarTech® Micro-Melt powder metal process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. The high-performance PlainEdge™ blade of this knife is full-flat ground for superior edge geometry and cloaked in a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating. It is supported by a stout back lock mechanism and housed within a fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle injection molded in a deep burgundy color.
